Nashville here we come!
Met up with the team that is going to Nashville to present at The Market Research Event: Nick Drew, Head of Research at Yahoo! Canada, and Dominic Atkinson of Dig Insights. We have a strict time requirement to deliver the compelling insights and wonderfully graphic presentation to our audience. Alleluia we came in on target! A bit more rehearsing (in front of pigeons or elsewhereJ) and we’ll be ready!
We’re especially excited about the opportunity to speak to an international audience about our probative research finding that the context of high-quality content can increase the impact of the online advertising that accompanies it. This is an area where there’s little agreement among the pundits or within the industry. Yahoo! has done a great service by rigorously exploring this topic and sharing the results widely to the media and advertising world. Nick Drew, in his thought-leadership role at Yahoo!, and in his previous work in the UK at Microsoft and the Financial Times, certainly deserves the Award of Distinction he was presented with at the MRIA conference in June 2013.
